ScalingCell

ScalingCell can link the 2D or 3D micro-morphology of a porous material to its vibro-acoustic properties such as its sound absorption coefficient or its transmission loss...

ScalingCell includes pre- and post-processings and can load meshes obtained using CAD software. It also allows parametric studies. ScalingCell can be coupled to Alphacell to undertake comprehensive studies spanning from the description of the porous micro-structure to the performance estimation of the multi-layer system which embeds this material. Finally, ScalingCell is based on MPI libraries and can efficiently make use of your calculation workstations.

RoKCell

RoKCell is a characterisation assistant software used to determine the parameters representative of the visco-inertial and thermal dissipation inside a porous material following Johnson-Champoux-Allard-Lafarge model. RoKCell has two main originalities. First, the implemented method consists in an analytical inversion of all non-directly measurable parameters: it does not rely on any curve fitting. The method used has been described by Panneton & Olny in their 2006 and 2008 publications. Second, it is one of the rare softwares which allows the determination of the static thermal permeability, a parameter introduced by Lafarge et al. to improve the description of the thermal dissipation inside porous media.

Finally, this software allows for the determination of 5 parameters: the static air flow resistivity, the high frequency limit of the dynamic tortuosity, the viscous and thermal characteristic lengths and the static thermal permeability. It also has a fully automated mode for beginners.
