Matelys is organizing with Vibratec & RJP Modelage a presentation day on solutions for acoustic sound packages on April, 11 2018 at hotel Novotel, Massy Palaiseau (France). Program, Registration.

Luc Jaouen & Fabien Chevillotte have just published the first part of their work on the length correction of ducts/perforations due to acoustic radiation in Acta Acustica 104(2), pp. 243-250. An additional note is also available on APMR

Luc Jaouen will introduce the models for acoustical porous materials using food examples (as illustrations) during the 3rd VIPER spring school in Besançon (France), April 9-11, 2018.

François-Xavier Bécot & Luc Jaouen will attend the next "Congrès Français d'Acoustique" in Le Havre, France between Mon. 23/04 and Fri. 27/04 with presentations on uncertainties on acoustic measurements, modeling of the length correction & the absorption of foams with membranes.

Fabien Chevillotte will present a general model to account for mechanical links (aka studs) in the vibro-acoustic behavior of multilayer systems at next NOVEM conference, May 7-9, 2018 in Ibiza (Spain).

Fabien Chevillotte will discuss microstructural & condensed equivalent fluid models at next ISNVH conference, June 20-22, 2018 in Graz (Austria).
